With A Little Help From Our Friends
Oh, hello again, fancy friends. We're excited to share with you some new developments. In case you missed it, we've taken some large strides toward our goal of making locally-sourced sustainable meats more accessible. We've finally made it through all of the requirements set forth by the Florida Dept. of Agriculture & Consumer Services (FDACS) and now have the capability of shipping our products direct to your doorstep.
We've fully transitioned from our little incubator case at East End Market to our new operational headquarters in Lake Helen, FL. This expansion will afford us the space to broaden our product line, and we'll be offering more grass-fed beef, chicken, rabbit, goat and wild boar in the near future.
We've launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund our expansion. This will help us scale up some of our equipment, put shipping logistics into place, and give us the necessary start-up capital to get through our next phase of operations - distributing Hinckley's Fancy Meats directly to your doorstep!
We've got some interesting perks worth mentioning for supporters of our campaign. We'll be offering our first Bacon-Of-The-Month Club, featuring small batches of bacon produced from heirloom breeds of pigs, some of which are found on the Slow Food Movement's Ark of Taste. Reserve a seat at Michael's Genuine Food & Drink for the Hinckley's Fancy Trunk Show, a one-time event with Chef Matt returning to his alma mater. He'll spend the night working the wood oven and will, of course, have fancy meats in tow. And if you haven't planned out your Superbowl festivities, there's a whole hog La Caja China roast in the mix, an intimate experience for you and about 60 of your closest friends.
We wanted to put some good vibes out and give sincere THANKS to everyone who has supported us thus far. Special thanks to Emily Rankin at Florida & Co. for offering up a deli case for us to test the market in her amazing store. We're looking forward to this next phase of operations and we're excited to make responsible meats easier for the home consumer to reach.
